We had a great day with Steffi who taught the children about the history of rope making.The children were taught how to make ropes using a Jack which was over 100 years old.We made a mixture of small and large skipping ropes for use in the school. Steffi also showed the children how to play some traditional games which involved the use of ropes.In the afternoon we made Bridógs (Little St.Bridget dolls) using only 3 rushes.It was a very educational and fun day to begin Science Week.
